I have been doing a little research in the special effects because I could see myself working with special effects in the future. I found some really cool tutorials online that I am hoping to go through when I get some free time, aka the summer. Also, I found that the tutorials from this guy on youtube are usually awesome and of very high quality. I think you should check them out as possible tutorials for future special effects classes.

Week 7
I am currently in the process of working on my milk pouring and it is coming out nice, but I did struggle with the particles and the render time is taking quite a bit of time. After I edited the milk pouring, the cereal had major issues with cereal exploding. So, I was unable to render that with the milk, but I plan getting them both to work in the future.
Week 6
I have decided to do a fluid in Maya, and enhance an old project by adding a milk pour to my earlier cereal project. I have found several tutorials for liquids, but many of the sites tell me that I should use Realflow. I downloaded the program, but I have no idea how to use it. I have decided that I can achieve a decent looking effect by using Maya. Here are some of the tutorials that I found:
